Bryce had his six month post-op cardiologist appointment yesterday. He had an EKG, and an ECG to make sure that the repair was successful. The cardiologist did hear a murmur in his heart, which is not unexpected, nor an issue. The murmur was there even after the surgery, so there is no reason for worry. The doctor said he is doing well, so we will only have yearly checkups from here on out. His scar is fading, and the raised area underneath the scar has almost completely disappeared. This is great news, and a testament to the marvels of modern medecine, but most of all, the God that created our bodies and minds in His image.
Not fully mind you, but we will be LESS PROTECTED as a country, both here and abroad, if Barack Hussein Obama is elected. The proof is in the video.
Every once in a millenia, a news article arrives that makes one think, “Hey, this is a hilarious joke! You go “The Onion!”, you have made me laugh yet
again at your crazy fake story antics!”. But alas, after reading the article, you suddenly become aware that the story isn’t made up, it’s REAL! And the laughing that had ensued at the first thought now increases at the realization that the story actually did happen, and it’s the funniest thing in the world, and then your head explodes.
This is not that article.
But it’s close.
According to the LA Times, two of Paris Hilton’s SEVENTEEN dogs were eaten Wednesday night by coyotes. Yes, two tiny dogs were snarfed up during the night at her Hollywood Hills home. Now, this makes me wonder how she knew they were coyotes, and that the dogs just didn’t run away to escape the constant ribbing from the neighbor dogs that they are owned by that “airhead blond”, and that all they are to her are “trophy dogs”, and she only loves them for their looks.
Maybe their tiny little legs were found in a pile, surrounded by two glittering collars, while the coyotes howled with glee in the distance. A gourmet meal, but probably a little rich…
I have a Chumby that I got for free for beta testing purposes. I love it, and it’s easy for the kids to play with, since it has a touchscreen interface. There is a Spongebob widget that is touch sensitive, and when you touch Spongebob’s mouth, he talks and laughs. Bryce figured out how to make it work, and laughs up a storm when playing with it. Here’s a short video of him manhandling the unit, but still making it work. (The accelerometer in it must also make Spongebob do his thing).
doneHere are some incredible pictures of Bolivar Peninsula in Texas pre and post Ike.

I’m very saddened to hear that Ray Boltz has come out and admitted being homosexual. This will send waves of controversy through the Christian community. His divorce is final. He is performing at a church that openly supports the LGTB (Lesbian, Gay, Transexual, Bisexual) lifestyle, and is now living a “normal gay life.”
The article is easily found online, and his website states he is performing at the aforementioned church. I will not link to the article, as it’s posted on a gay online magazine (The Washington Blade), most filters will probably block the website. There are excerpts easily found online.
How do I feel about this? Well, I think it’s important that he took care of it to his family and friends, but I question the wisdom of Ray coming out publicly to a magazine. I wish he would have kept this more private. He had some very powerful and popular gospel songs (Thank You, I Pledge Allegiance, and more). The lifestyle he now leads is clearly spoken against in Scripture and does not mesh with his past ministry. They are separate issues, and now one, in my opinion, has tarnished the other. Christians should still treat Ray with love and respect, and pray for him.
I love Itunes’s new smart playlist feature! I pick a song, select the Genius playlist feature, and it picks 25 songs from my library that are similar. It’s pretty slick, and not only that, but Apple has integrated this feature into the Iphone, totally independent of Itunes, so it works on the fly. It’s MUCH easier and faster than creating an On-the-Go
playlist, and is more random than just picking genres.
I’m obviously running Itunes 8 and Iphone software 2.1, since that’s the only way to get Genius running. I like the new firmware. Backups and Syncing are now WAY faster, and my contacts list isn’t as laggy any longer. I don’t know if my apps will still occasionally crash, I’ll have to give it a week or so of use to see if that problem has been resolved. One HUGE increase in performance is how quickly the apps download and install. It’s significantly faster. I tested two apps, they were small, but I have never had apps install so quickly. I’m also hoping to see the battery life increase that Apple is touting in their 2.1 feature release. If you haven’t upgraded Itunes and your Iphone software, Genius gives you a good reason too, in my opinion.
I found an awesome free website today. YearBookYourself.com
