Ultrasound Update

We had an ultrasound today, and it went great.  We convinced the tech to do a 4d ultrasound (no, it doesn’t map spacetime, the 4th dimension).  We’ve never had one done, so this was a first.  The tech finds the baby’s face, then presses a button and the system scans through the stomach, placenta, and baby.  It then renders a 3d model of that section of Lael’s abdomen.  If there is sufficient fluid in front of the baby’s head, the image is easy to see.  There is a little cutting away of the placenta data done, and the baby’s profile is revealed.  Here are the pictures that we were given.
