Ultrasound Update

We had an ultrasound today, and it went great.  We convinced the tech to do a 4d ultrasound (no, it doesn’t map spacetime, the 4th dimension).  We’ve never had one done, so this was a first.  The tech finds the baby’s face, then presses a button and the system scans through the stomach, placenta, and baby.  It then renders a 3d model of that section of Lael’s abdomen.  If there is sufficient fluid in front of the baby’s head, the image is easy to see.  There is a little cutting away of the placenta data done, and the baby’s profile is revealed.  Here are the pictures that we were given.

I took this photo with my phone while at a friend’s family farm.  I LOVED the antique phone booth, and just took about 10 minutes to mess around with it in Photoshop.  The original is the sideways pic.

Pic one plus pic two equals pic three.  I did this quickly, so excuse the line and color issues in the final product.  It’s a proof of concept.  A friend of mine found some good tutorials on youtube, it makes learning photo editing very easy!
