Barack Obama’s Video Plan to Disarm America
Not fully mind you, but we will be LESS PROTECTED as a country, both here and abroad, if Barack Hussein Obama is elected. The proof is in the video.

In what I consider a brilliant move, Senator John McCain has pegged Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin to be his Veep running mate. Wow, is this a gesture to the disenfranchised Hillary supporters?
Sarah is quite a bit younger than McCain, also hopefully bringing in a different demographic of voters into the polling booths. How will the polls react to this? Not sure. I see a few issues that may come up.
1) Alaska. She’s been involved with Big Oil. Issue? Perhaps
2) She’s a very young Governor. Inexperienced? Well, no less than Obama.
3) She’s relatively unknown. I didn’t know her…did you?
I think it’s a good ticket. A woman VP? Cool…
Here’s a weird thing I do, and have done for years. I eat soup straight from the can. I know, just when you think you know a person, and being to enjoy his company, he tells you THIS! I’m been going to lukewarm
soup eaters anonymous (LSEA, in no way affiliated with the local Christian ministry of ALMOST the same name). But I’m not cured. I don’t like taking the time, and dealing with the mess, of dumping the soup into a bowl, heating it up, eating said soup, then cleaning up after myself. I eat at work most of the time, and time is precious. Plus, the difference between cold soup and warm soup doesn’t make or break the meal for me. I was excited when they started to put those pull-tab quick-open tops on cans. When I used to work production during the summer during college, I would just put the soup on my dash in my car (where I would eat), and that actually got it warm. Not anymore. I know I may lose a lot of readers because of this, but I had to get this off of my chest. <whew> I feel much better now…
I read another article today about people that can’t make ends meet. It’s interesting though, these people are typically:
Please don’t misunderstand me here. I know some people are really hurting, and some people just aren’t making much, and do budget well, so when they lose their jobs, it hits them hard. The people I’m fed up with are those that don’t manage their money well. They spend money on high interest credit cards, they live in giant homes they can’t afford, then they pick STUPID financing programs. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if we were leveraged that much on the debt side. I, as a taxpayer, do NOT want to bail these people out. People have to live with the consequences of their actions, and poor choices. The Lord knows I’ve done dumb things and had to pay for it! (Please don’t remind me in the comments…) However, when it comes to your future, and your family’s future, don’t be hasty. I know it’s not easy not having the nicest house, or the 120″ plasma, but live within your means, or get a better job. Or a 2nd job. Or steal.
Mr. Mortgage company. You sold people that can’t afford mortgages a home. You are stuck with the bad debt. Shame on you. DON’T EXPECT A GOVERNMENT BAILOUT.
Problem is, they’ll probably get it.
And now, on a lighter note!! Bryce was constipated (a side effect of now eating real food), so we took him to the Dr. Lael had to buy these little wax plugs that go there. No, not there….THERE. Yeah, down there… They worked, a little too good! Now it’s runny, all the time. He was crying when he was poopin’, cuz it hurt a bit. Not any more! Ahhh, the joys of parenthood.
Would you like to be scared? Really? You would? Then read this…

Of course I jest, but this is a serious issue. No Medicare or Social Security payouts in the future will leave a HUGE impact on many people, especially the poor who do not have their own investments to fall back on. Please do what you can to pay off debt and start investing NOW. I’m not all doom and gloom, but it won’t hurt to start thinking about the future now.
