The Great Home Search of 2008 is Over

If all goes well, and it should, we have an accepted offer on a home! It’s actually one we really liked, but I saw the taxes were WAY high, but come to find out, the house was moved into in 2006, and so the exemptions haven’t kicked in. Oh yeah, and it’s our realtor’s house. With NO info from her, we found it on our own, and set up a showing. We saw 6 homes today, her’s being the last. She fessed up and mentioned (since we would see their pictures in their house), that the last one was theirs. We loved it, and talked about it, and made an offer, which she informally accepted!
