Steven Curtis Chapman Interview with James Dobson

August 27, 2008 Leave a comment

I caught the tail end of the three day interview that Dr. James Dobson had with Steven Curtis Chapman.  It’s very good.  You can find it by clicking on the right side (Family radio tab) of the main page, the “Daily Broadcast” link.  The three parts are called “The God of All Comfort”.  Linked HERE.

One of the cool things that Dr. Dobson mentioned was how the secular interviews didn’t catch onto the spiritual aspect of the story, which was the biggest gist of their whole experience.

Also, thank you to all our readers!  In only five months, we’ve reached 14,000 webpage views!  Thanks!!

UPDATES ON PAST POSTS: Steven Curtis Chapman Post-Tragedy Interview and Russian Bar Trio Injury

Here is the first interview that Steven Curtis Chapman has done since the tragic death of his young daughter.  It’s very moving, and a testament to their faith and strength as a family.  What he said to his son is absolutely amazing, and reflects a father’s true unconditional love.

Also, unfortunately one of my favorite acts on America’s Got Talent will NOT be performing in the semi-finals.  The Russian Bar Trio’s female performer was seriously injured while practicing, so they lost their spot in the show.  Bummer!  Hopefully she will be okay.  Check out their INCREDIBLE videos HERE.

Steven Curtis Chapman Tragedy

Steven Curtis Chapman recently lost his five year old daughter to a horrible accident where his seventeen year old son hit her with an SUV in their driveway.  I can not and pray I will not ever be able to imagine what this must feel like.  One of my all time favorite songs is one he wrote about his daughters, called Cinderella.  One of the most touching moments I’ve ever had with Brielle was when she and I were dancing one night to this song.  It really choked me up thinking about “losing” her someday.  Here is the music video.  Please keep this family in your prayers.  UPDATE:  The first interview of the family since the tragedy is posted HERE.
